The Manny Lu Crew is Emmanuel’s ministry for children, youth, and families. It's a ministry to belong, grow in faith, build friendships, and discover what it means to follow Jesus together. Through worship, learning, service, fellowship, special events, and opportunities designed for every stage of childhood and adolescence, we want young people and their families to know that they are not simply the future of the church—they are an important part of the church right now. Whether your family has been part of Emmanuel for years or you are just getting connected, there is a place for you in The Manny Lu Crew.

GOSPEL LIGHT GROUP

Gospel Light Group is our Sunday morning gathering for all school-aged children and youth, meeting each week from 9:45–10:30 a.m. More than a traditional Sunday School class, Gospel Light Group is an active and engaging time filled with camp songs, skits, games, crafts, conversation, and opportunities to explore different parts of our campus while learning more about worship, the Bible, faith, and life with Jesus. It is a place where children and youth can have fun, ask questions, make friends, and discover how the light of the Gospel connects with their everyday lives.
CONFIRMATION
By Appointment
Grades 6-8
Confirmation at Emmanuel is a time for young people to explore their faith more deeply, ask questions, learn about the Bible and the Lutheran tradition, and grow in their understanding of what it means to follow Jesus. Confirmation is offered by appointment so that we can work with each student and family individually. To learn more or inquire about beginning Confirmation, please contact info@emmanuel-elca.org.

Through our partnership with NovusWay Ministries and Luther Springs, Emmanuel helps children and youth experience faith, friendship, and fun through Christian camping ministry. Each June, we host Lutheroad Day Camp right here at Emmanuel, and throughout the year children and youth also have opportunities to attend overnight camp at Luther Springs, Lutheridge, and Lutherock. These experiences give young people space to grow in faith, build lasting relationships, enjoy God’s creation, and discover the joy of Christian community.
