Where ever you are in your spiritual journey, you are welcome to explore the life of faith with us at Emmanuel Church. Coming to Emmanuel as new pastors in February 2011, we have discovered that this is a vibrant, active, loving, laughing community of Christians who are committed to our purpose of "Knowing Christ and making Christ known." The pages and pictures on this website will give you a glimpse into the life of this congregation on the Island in beautiful Venice, in Southwest Florida. We invite you to experience Emmanuel firsthand by joining us for worship or one of the many other activities and ministries that go on here each day. The weekly gathering around word and sacrament in the liturgy of Holy Communion is at the heart of our life together. Worship here is both reverent and rooted in tradition, but also upbeat and relevant, with preaching that connects with everyday life. From this gathering we are sent to be God’s people in the world. Emmanuel strives to be a spiritual home where all are welcome and where joys and sorrows are shared in community. We are here to make a difference in Venice and the world.
